ANNUAL FRIENDS AND ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF PALMETTO HIGH SCHOOL FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATIONS
Mullins, SC, (June 1, 2018) – Friends and Alumni Association of Palmetto High School (FAAPHS) has announced 15 recipients for the 2018 FAAPHS scholarship programs. FAAPHS will acknowledge the 2018 recipients on Sunday, July 1, at FAAPHS’s Battle of the Classes annual Fourth of July weekend celebration. The FAAPHS annual Fourth of July weekend celebration takes place Sunday July 1 – Wednesday July 4, 2018.

Battle of the Classes, Palmetto Middle School, (formerly Palmetto High School), 305 O’Neal Street, Mullins, SC, 6:00 PM
Monday, July 2 (Tentative)
1st Annual Golf Tournament and Chicken Bog - 9:00 AM starting time. Price per golfer including lunch and refreshments to be determined. Lunch only for non-golfers is $10. Location also to be determined. Prizes for top three foursomes. All former athletes welcome. Ladies you are welcome too. Contact Alton Donnelly at (843)464-7653 or Howard Campbell at (301)346-6494 for additional information or suggestions. Preregistration requested by June 22, 2018. Checks can be made payable to the Friends and Alumni Association of Palmetto High School and mailed to the association’s PO Box 412, Mullins, SC 29574. - 5K (3 mile) Run/Walk, Mullins Recreation Center, 100 S. Gapway Street, 9:00 AM. Jarius Edwards-Jackson, Chairperson, 912-266-3710. Registration: $7.00 Adults, $5.00 Students
- Annual Scholarship Dance, Music by DJ Eric Lowery, Milton Troy Sr. Hall, 106 Gapway St., Mullins, SC, at 9:00 PM. Donations: $10.00 in advance, $15.00 at the door.
